IPAC offers online and in-person public mental health talks and roundtable discussion sessions
IPAC regularly offers online public talks and in-person roundtable sessions, creating safe and approachable spaces for Chinese communities to engage in mental health topics through education and interactive activities.
The International Student Roundtable is an adaptation support program for international students hosted by IPAC since 2022.
The program has received generous support from partners including LingYu International Psychology Center, the University of Toronto Muhe Psychology Club, and Fantuan Delivery. Each session is facilitated by Ontario-registered social workers and mental health professionals, and is designed to provided a safe and confidential space for students to share experiences, connect with peers, and build meaningful social networks while adjusting to a new environment.
In response to rising mental health challenges in 2020, IPAC collaborated with LingYu International Psychology Center to host five public group mental wellbeing support sessions in November and December, following an earlier series of eight public talks during the spring and summer of the pandemic.
